From independent growers to prestigious Champagne houses, the table and views know no bounds. You can enjoy much of our enviable fizz list by the glass or bottle.
Only the finest spirits make it to our gantry — a curated showcase of Scotland’s best distillers. Even our house draught beer raises the bar, brewed exclusively with barley from the Champagne region.

There’s nowhere better to watch the cityscape sparkle into life, accompanied by, if you so desire, a choice of champagne.
With a spread to suit all appetites, from lush fruit to freshly baked, all-butter pastries and artisan bread, as well as cooked-to-order dishes, breakfast isn’t complete without a carefully sourced, locally roasted coffee or our luxury choice of teas.
Festive Afternoon Tea
Celebrate the season in style with Nor’ Loft’s indulgent Festive Afternoon Tea, a sparkling experience high above Edinburgh.
Enjoy a merry twist on tradition with Christmas mince pie scones served with clotted cream and blackcurrant jam, alongside decadent treats including a Black Forest yule log, mandarin, cardamom & coffee éclair, and speculoos cheesecake. Savoury delights feature nduja & butternut puff, stilton croquettes with port wine onions, and whisky smoked shrimp topped with caviar.
Our Festive Afternoon Tea is £65 for two and available:

Our Namesake
The ancient Nor’ Loch is steeped in the history of Edinburgh. Centuries ago it sat in front of Market Street at the foot of the Castle rock, now occupied by Princes Street Gardens, and was part of the natural defences of the old town to hinder invaders. Inspired by this historic icon Nor’ Loft now takes its place as part of the city’s Old Town character.
